The Aims of the Trust.

The Hampton Riverside Trust was founded in 1996 by 30 Hampton people to provide a local community "voice" to help to preserve, protect and enhance features of amenity, beauty and historical interest on the riverside at Hampton.

It is a campaigning organisation, which works Constructively with Richmond Council, Elmbridge Council, the Thames Landscape Strategy, the Environment Agency and other amenity groups in pursuit of its aims.

It takes an interest in issues affecting both banks of the River Thames, and the River Thames itself, over the two-and-a-half miles from Platts Eyot to Hampton Court Palace.
